Steph completed her Master of Science in Physical Therapy degree at the University of Toronto and her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology with Honours from McMaster University. Her post-graduate education includes completion of the McMaster Contemporary Acupuncture Program, certification in Soft Tissue Release and K-Taping, and Advanced Orthopaedic Manual and Manipulative Therapy Level One. She spent five years as a clinical instructor at U of T, before moving home to Guelph and starting her family. She believes in life-long learning and is always updating her skill set.
As a former competitive dancer and mom of two young boys, Steph understands the frustration of pain and limited function. She is passionate about helping her clients return to whatever they love to do, as soon as possible. Steph loves using hands-on therapeutic techniques and acupuncture to help her clients relax and accelerate healing. Her treatments also involve movement programs, simple lifestyle changes, and education to continue recovery at home.
When she’s not at ION, Steph can be found reading, practicing yoga, and spending time with her family.
